Corolla Wine + Cider is a project picked and pressed by David Hendrickson in Tillamook County. Hendrickson started making cider in a small barn on the banks of the Nehalem River in Tillamook County on Oregon’s North Coast. Fruit for fermentation is forged, not farmed, and sourced from forgotten trees, large and small, old and young, on both sides of the Oregon Coast Range. Corolla Wine + Cider excites us because it honors Oregon’s history of fruit cultivation. To be a steward to old trees is like being a poet: you rarely make money, but you create beauty in this life. We are excited to have the first cider from Hendrickson, the '20 'Nehalem River,' in stock. It's the perfect food-friendly cider to drink in any season — slightly funky, bone-dry, and savory.
